Welcome to tAR!


Originally formed in 1997, and rebuilt in 2025, we are the site that coined the term 'Abandonware'; which relates to Software that is no longer sold or supported by it's original copyright owner. More can be read up about this in our About page, which has a brief history of Abandonware and also, of course, The Abandonware Ring.

Back in the day (25 years ago), we would normally put up some type of JS/CSS decorations.

I remember the old Black DFL would have Xmas imagery that would be swapped over with snow settled along the strip. Also snowflakes sometimes too.
