News Update on 2007-12-24

December 24, 2007

Christmas Eve is here folks! At least in Norway, as the calendar just has turned to the 24th. That means alot of gifts for young and old ones around the world, however since the Americans are slow, they're not opening their gifts until the 25th ;)

But, regardless of where you live, the Abandonwarering delivers goodies all year and there are special treats here today as well.

Abandoned Tavern added Veil of Darkness and the intro video to Space Quest 1 VGA edition in both Roland and Sound Blaster versions.

Gobliiins Old Games added two new games, Munch Man which looks something similar to Pac Man, and Slipstream 5000, a sort of wipeout clone with a decent-touch to it.

Oldschool Computer updated their WinUAE with an hungarian translation.

We've at The DOS Spirit have finally completed our annual Christmas Calendar, and heck what work (but fun) it's been! Just the couple of last days we've added 4 reviews because we've been busy and not being able to update every day. However, that's now fixed and there are PLENTY of reviews for you to read! As a matter of fact, Calendar day 20 to 24 has been revealed, featuring among others; King's Quest 2, Might and Magic 2 and The Dig! And of course a special gift at the 24th day. Go see for yourself ;)

Allrighty, that's that for now, but I guess there will be more updates as the day progresses. If any updaters are around, they'll append the updates so you'll have alot to dig into after you've enjoyed your christmas gifts and once again are ready to enjoy some old games from your past.

So, from all of the Abandonwarering staff to all of you: Merry Christmas!
