Welcome to tAR!


Originally formed in 1997, and rebuilt in 2025, we are the site that coined the term 'Abandonware'; which relates to Software that is no longer sold or supported by it's original copyright owner. More can be read up about this in our About page, which has a brief history of Abandonware and also, of course, The Abandonware Ring.

If you're new and don't know where to go, then we recommend you sign up to create an account and gain access to your user Dashboard. One of the biggest changes is that we have built an entire Marketplace, especially for Classic Gaming.
